I have been attending Paula’s yoga/pilates class in Elsenham for the last 9 months or so. I had never done yoga before in 67 years, but have found Paula’s instructions easy to follow in general. Despite this being quite a full class at times, she always manages to spot if anyone is using the wrong leg/arm and get them back on track. I thoroughly enjoy it and have noticed a great improvement in balance and flexibility.

I have been attending Paula's yoga classes for over 6 years now; Paula's classes are fun, interesting and the poses are always well explained and demonstrated. Paula varies the content of the classes, with different exercises, routines and music so I'm never bored and she always takes care to ensure everyone, at whatever level, gets the most they can out of the class. Paula always takes notice if anyone has any particular issues e.g. after an injury, illness or operation and makes sure that we are all exercising safely. I cannot recommend Paula highly enough as an enthusiastic, kind and motivating yoga teacher. My fitness and flexibility have definitely improved as a direct result of Paula's classes.

I have been attending fitness classes that Paula has run for over a decade now. I have enjoyed her body conditioning, body balance class and yoga classes. Paula is a great teacher, the body conditioning and yoga classes are always varied week to week and levelled with various progressions to suit everyone’s capability, and she will always explain really well which parts of the body are benefiting from each of the moves and assist with breathing patterns. The yoga class is aimed at fitness, incorporating some pilates moves which I have massively benefited from with regard to my core strength and suppleness. Recently I have enjoyed Paula’s sports massages. I have found it difficult in the past to find someone to give a very firm massage. Paula has been great with this and will work on troubled areas as needed. Paula has also biomechanically assessed me and we have discussed and worked on some of my aches and pains with success.
Paula's yoga classes are great, Paula always make sure you do not have any injuries and is happy to discuss any problems you have had in the class. The classes are varied, great music which also changes regularly, could not recommend the class enough wish I could go 3 times a week instead of weekly! Debbie White
The quality of my life has greatly improved since attending Paula’s weekly classes. In my 30s and 40s I spent time each winter bedridden with back spasms, but no longer. Everyday life is easier by being fitter, more flexible and better balanced. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and gives one hour of time spent away from everyday concerns. Paula has a lovely personality. Her soothing tones round off each lesson enabling relaxation and calm. I look forward to being able to attend for many more years.

I just wanted to thank you for taking time to find that piece of music on Monday & to tell you that it was a really brilliant class this week. Every move was spot on for me … lots of down dog to stretch my legs (my marathon is getting close!), swan stretches (killers) and a bit of tummy stuff at the end - the time just flew. When are you producing the DVD so I can do it the rest of the week at home?!

I have known Paula and have been attending her fitness classes for nearly 14 years. Initially the class I went to was aerobic/body conditioning which I found very enjoyable, not too intensive but enough to make me feel like I had done a workout. Paula always asked if anyone had any injuries or fitness problems and spoke to those individuals, she also advised on high and low impact alternatives.
About 8 years ago Paula changed the class to yoga, which I was very happy about as I enjoy yoga, but she kept the aerobic element by making one class per month a body conditioning class. During the yoga classes Paula ensures everyone is doing the moves correctly and always shows alternatives to people who may struggle with something due to illness or injury. Also, when demonstrating a move/position Paula is very good at showing different levels so you can push yourself if you feel happy to advance.
During the time I have been attending Paula’s classes I have had two children. Whilst I was pregnant Paula was excellent during the classes, she always told me any moves that I shouldn’t do and offered an alternative.
Paula is very friendly and personable and you always feel comfortable and relaxed during her classes.

The classes speed by, you are never bored. Every class is different but tailored to cater for all the different abilities and individual motivation without ever compromising the quality of the exercise. You are completely confident that she knows how the body responds to exercise, that all the programs are balanced to address all areas and take into account any limitations. You feel that you are in very safe and capable hands.
I always leave her classes feeling better and will go to great lengths to attend every week.

I have been going to Paula's yoga classes for over seven years and I always enjoy them. Paula is a very knowledgeable, considerate and observant teacher. She always ensures that her students adopt the correct postures, gently correcting us when necessary. She will also advise should anyone have an injury or condition that might affect a student's ability to participate in the class, suggesting alternative postures as appropriate.
My flexibility and overall strength have definitely improved since I've been going to Paula's classes and, if I'm ever forced to skip a session, I find that my body really misses it.
I like the mix of yoga, pilates and relaxation in Paula's approach and really feel that my body and mind benefit from each class.
I would recommend Paula's classes very highly - there is a friendly and supportive atmosphere and Paula always ensures that the class is beneficial for our bodies and also fun and relaxing to take part in - that's why, after seven years’ regular attendance, I keep coming back!

I had a niggling problem with my back for about a year which I kept ignoring hoping it would go away. Of course, eventually it became worse until I had trouble getting out of bed and in and out of the car. I went to see Paula who evaluated my level of movement and assessed where the problem appeared to stem from. She then gave me some personalised exercises to do on a daily basis, as well as massage. I am now so much better and if I do have the occasional stiffness or niggle in my back for whatever reason I just do some of my exercises and it feels better.
I am also a great fan of the Yoga classes. The class is aimed at exactly the right level and Paula always makes sure we are holding the poses correctly! IT feels great to stretch out and certainly feels good when the class is over.
